RUSH, NY – September 2, 2016 – iuvo BioScience is pleased to announce the addition of Kathleen Krenzer, OD, PhD, DABT, as Research Fellow in Toxicology to further strengthen iuvo’s technical team.

“Dr. Krenzer brings a tremendous breadth of experience to augment the iuvo technical team,” said Dr. Mary Richardson, iuvo’s Chief Scientific Officer.  “She has extensive experience with pharmaceuticals, medical devices and ophthalmics and will help to expand our capabilities immensely.”

Dr. Krenzer comes to iuvo most recently from Bausch and Lomb where she served as a Senior Principal Scientist, responsible for overall nonclinical aspects of both pharmaceutical and medical device product development as well as maintenance of marketed products.  Prior to her role at Bausch and Lomb, she was Lead Study Director at Toxikon and a Clinical Sub-Investigator at Ophthalmic Research Associates (ORA), and she is also currently an adjunct Professor at the New England College of Optometry.

“Dr. Krenzer is a great addition to our team, and we’re lucky to have her,” added iuvo CEO Ben Burton.  “She will be instrumental in executing our strategy to grow and expand our laboratory services, and adds further capabilities in ophthalmics, which is already a key strength for us, as well as pharmaceuticals.”
