The class was a graduate level class taught by Dr. Greg Gdowski at the University of Rochester’s Department of Biomedical Engineering, part of the Center for Medical Technology and Innovation at the UR. The class included a lecture and breakout sections covering biocompatibility and ISO 10993.

Mary Richardson is iuvo’s Chief Scientific Officer and Kathleen Krenzer is a Research Fellow in the Toxicology Department, and they were able to bring years of real-world experience to the UR students. As members of the Lumino Consulting group, Mary and Kathleen work closely with many of iuvo’s customers, helping to build preclinical testing strategy, prepare toxicology assessments and even attending FDA meetings with iuvo customers.
