Data Collection System Implementation Specialist 

SUMMARY

This is an approximately 6 month position which has responsibilities in collaboration with an IT person to implement an ELN system including completing a validation report and creating test data sheets and reports in the system for use on regulated studies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write validation report based on previously completed test scripts
  • Create and test datasheets in the ELN for production use
  • Write SOPS as necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong documentation skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BS or equivalent combination of education and experience in computer science or life science or related field. 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Strong computer skills are a requirement.  Knowledge of validation and regulated environments desired. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Written skills needed for vendor bid requests and other correspondence.  Ability to effectively communicate or present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to vendors and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Strong math skills including ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to collect data, establish facts, analyze accounts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to independently follow-up and meet deadlines, apply logic to problems.
