Heterotrophic Plate Count Testing

Enumeration refers to heterotrophic plate count (HPC) testing, which measures the overall bacteriological quality of a water sample, and evaluates routine maintenance of water systems.  This testing is employed for the evaluation of process water, deionized water or purified water systems. Samples may be evaluated by pour plate or membrane filtration methods. Sample volume, incubation time and temperature can be adjusted to meet individual needs of the sponsor.

Iuvo BioScience performs this testing according to the procedure outlined in USP <1231> and Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.
